In 2009 Jim Calhoun started an online radio station - Thunderbolt Radio. Traveling around the country performing, Jim found Independent Artists that had no outlet for their music. In his words .. "We have an ocean full of talented people out there, but we are only offered a thimble full." His goal was getting unknown independent artists heard. He found artists around the globe and aired them on Thunderbolt Radio. Along the way he not only found many new "favorite" artists, he brought them to the world.
